Cone globose, to 8 mm in diameter, red, soft, with 1-2 brown seeds 6 mm long. Pollination in June, seeds mature in July (2).RangeRussia: southern Siberia, endangered in Ussuriland; Mongolia; China: Gansu, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Nei Mongol, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shanxi, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Xizang.
