Description

"A dense, bushy shrub [2-5 m] high. Branchlets fern-like. Leaves decussate, slightly unequal, the lateral pairs broadly triangular, up to [3.5 mm] long, the facial leaves triangular, up to [3 mm] long, free for 2/3 of their length. Male strobili [8-10 mm] long, about [4 mm] across, with 16-18 sporophylls. Cones up to [16 mm] long, their fertile scales cuneate, about [12 mm] long and [6 mm] across. Seed about [6 mm] long, [2-4 mm] across" (2).
